Third Annual MGAA Snowball Series Underway

The new MGAA mounted games series started under great weather conditions
in Lexington, KY with the third season of the Snowball Series.
Competitors trailered from the Washington DC area, from northern-most
Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Tennessee to compete against Kentucky’s
best! Great ponies, great riders, great volunteers added up to a
wonderful day of competition.
The day started with a strong Fossils division of three teams. Veteran
team Zippy Chickies had a great time riding with Confusion Reins and the
Mamas. With a strong parent division, we enjoyed a great volunteer group
of kids! Thank you to all riders and support crew who unselfishly worked
the competition. Without you, we cannot play games!
We welcomed many teams back to Snowball and we welcomed some brand new
riders and teams. Thank you one and all. Results follow this report.
In January, we offer an expanded format of mounted games. We will have 2
separate competitions, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. You may enter
either day or both days! In addition, we will offer a Jackpot Pairs
division Saturday night. This will be open to the first 5 pairs
entering. A portion of the entry fee will be returned to the riders as
winnings.
Also on Saturday night, we will have a team competition to benefit the 2005 USPC
International Mounted Games team. 100% of the entry fees will be donated
to the International team. This division can be made up of any
combination of masters and novice riders. This will be a great
opportunity for families to ride together! Entries for the January 8-9
weekend close January 3.
