Canadian and American mounted games team
meet for the first time at the Grand River Raceway and Slots located in
Elora, Onatario. What a fantastic place for a games competition!!
If anyone got bored (not likely), they could go inside for a few minutes
of slots :)
What a fantastic competition, with the A
Finals going down to the final race to determine the winner!! All riders
played their best and safest... no ambulances, very few eliminations,
and just good fun had by all!!!
MGAC pulled out all the stops to provide
the best hospitality found in Canada. Travis Hall
was a wonderful facility for stabling the ponies and providing lush
lawns for camping. MGAC held a gourmets' delight potluck dinner
that all enjoyed! Even the spontaneous football game held between
girls and boys had few casualties and lots of good fun.
Thanks to all the MGAC members and
organizers for inviting us up to their fantastic competition!! It
was worth all your hard work. Thanks also to Travis Hall.
Your workers were helpful and thoughtful with every problem and
question. Thanks to Grand River Raceway & Slots for allowing us
access to your track infield. It was the biggest field we have
ever played on.
Hope to see all our Canadian friends at
some of the upcoming MGAA comps. Thanks again for the great fun!!
